Hi my name is Tjark Lienke and I am a director of photography based in Munich, Germany. The way I approach cinematography is fitted to the project and needs to support the story that is being told. I never wanted to be just a „Kameramann“ (ger.), that translates more to just a camera operator but wanted to sculpt the image, the light, texture and color. 

Early on I wanted to know all there is about, who is doing what, in order to realise the story at hand. This gives me the ability to know what you can ask for and how to push the envelope.
